Meghan Ickes is a NCIDQ Certified commercial interior designer living in Raleigh, North Carolina.

After graduating from Meredith College's CIDA Accredited design program, she began working as an interior designer at a commercial furniture dealership. She has extensive commercial furniture dealership experience including managing a team, and full project management roles. 

She led a new interiors department initiative at an architectural firm in the area and has also worked as a Project Interior Designer specializing in high-end multi-family housing projects. Meghan enjoys the fast-paced atmosphere and variety of the commercial design industry.

Additionally, Meghan has a passion for sustainable and environmentally friendly design practices. She earned her LEED AP credential in April 2009 and is an active member of the local USGBC Tringle Chapter.

Outside of business hours, she likes to get out and explore. Travel is a passion and she has hiked glaciers in Iceland and zip lined through rain forests in Costa Rica. Meghan is saving the world one animal at a time as a volunteer foster mom for the Wake County Animal Center. She also enjoys running half marathons, exploring local craft breweries, and attending concerts.
